What: This will be a 7 day, 4 destination cruise out of Tampa, FL to Cozumel, Mexico, Belize, Isla Rotan and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
Welcome Aboard: Ye time is nigh to start preparing for the 6th Anal Jolly Roger Hash House Harriers (JRH3) Pirate Invasion Anniversary Hash Cruise! But first, we must commandeer a ship. Weee've selected a fine lady, the Carnival Ship Legend, setting sail January 27th thru February 3rd, in the year of our Lord, two thousand and thirteen!!!!
Preliminaries: On Saturday, January 26th, pre-registration will be held in Hogan's Beach Club Bar (formerly Crabby Bills), next to the Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel, which will be the "official" hash hotel, followed by a Cruise Pre-Lube/White Dress/Pink Panties/Full Moon Hash, starting in the northwest most parking lot. On Sunday, January, 27th the ship sets sail out of Port of Tampa, Florida at 4:00 PM. Shortly after sailing and registration, we will have a Photo Shoot Hash in full pirate garb. On Monday, January 28th we will spend a fun day at sea where we will conduct a Hash Challenge Hash. Later that day there will be a one hour full open bar cocktail party in one of the on board ship lounges where we will conduct the circle in formal dinner attire. Then off to formal night at dinner. On Tuesday, January 29th, we will conduct a Pirate Invasion Hash in Cozumel, Mexico. On Wednesday, January 30th, we will do a Pirate Invasion Hash at Belize. On Thursday, January 31st, we will do a Pirate Invasion Hash at Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan, followed by a cabin crawl back aboard ship. On Friday, February 1st, we will do a Pirate Invasion Hash at Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman Islands. Then, on Saturday, February 2nd it will be our final fun day at sea where we will conduct hash games followed another one hour full open bar where prizes will be awarded for all the tokens collectd on trails and won during games, in conjunction with a raffle. Don't forget to bring stuff to donate to the raffle. On Sunday morning, February 3rd we will arrive back in Tampa. Later that day, for those who hang around, there will be Superbowl Hash hosted by one of the local kennels. Note: Itinerary subject to change.
Costs: There are 2 costs associated with the "hash" cruise. There's the hash registration (rego) fee that is paid to the JRH3 and then there's the cruise cost that is paid to our travel agent. Click here to go to Cabin Costs & Hash Rego Fees.
Hash Rego Fee: The hash rego fee pays for 7 hashes (3 on board ship and 4 at the destinations), a pirate pak (goody bag), the prizes for the treasure hunt and hash challenge and other miscellaneous expenses. The hash rego fee is $200. The hash rego fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable, meaning you can sell it to someone else if you need to cancel. Or, if you want do everything online, you can send a signed photo copy of the rego form to dab@jollyrogerh3.com and you can use your bank's on line bill pay system to send a check to the above address.
Cabin Cost:
This pays for your cabin only, not the
hashes, parties, etc. You must book your cruise with our chosen travel
agent or else you will not be authorized to attend the on-board-ship parties.

to download the credit card authorization form, fill it out, sign
it, and send it along with a photo copy of your drivers license, or state ID, to
Dunedin Travel, at 5002 Parrish Lane, Safety Harbor, FL 34695. If
you booked through Kathy in the past, she probably still has a copy
of your ID. The signature on the ID needs to be from the same
person who signs the credit card authorization form. If you do not want travel insurance, click

to down load the travel insurance waiver form, fill it out, sign it
and send it to Dunedin Travel as well. If you want fax these forms
you may do so by sending them by fax to 727-726-6386.
Additional Costs:
Airfare, all ground
transportation, excursions, travel insurance, tips, pre-lube and
post-lube hashes will be optional additional
expenses. In addition, you may be asked to provide "some" of your own
beverages for down downs at the circle at the end of each trail.
Hash Hotel: The official hash hotel for this cruise will be the Best Western Bay Harbor, located at 7700 W Courtney Campbell Causeway, in Tampa, FL. To make your reservations call 813-281-8900 and tell them you are with the Jolly Roger H3 group. Our discounted rate is $89 for a double per night. You can come a few days early and even stay there after the cruise for the same rate. A 3rd and 4th person may stay in the room for FREE. Rollaway beds will be available for $10 extra for each bed.
Shuttles Between the Airport & the Ship: Going directly to the ship from the airport? The cost for a transfer directly from the Tampa International Airport (TPA) to the ship is $18 per person one way. If interested, ask Dunedin Travel at 727-797-5730 to book it for you, or take one of the many shuttles, or taxis on your own and pay a higher amount.
Shuttles Between Airport & Hash Hotel: There is FREE shuttle service between the Tampa International Airport (TPA) and the hash hotel (Best Western Bay Harbor). Just look for the shuttle marked "Best Western Bay Harbor." To find out when the next shuttle arrives/departs, call 813-281-8900. They run often.
Shuttles Between Hash Hotel & the Ship: Shuttle service between the hash hotel and the ship will be available for $10 one way, or $18 round trip with an option drop off at the TPA airport on the return trip, Please add this amount to your hash rego fee when you send it in if you are interested. If not you can send a separate payment later, but not later than January 22nd, 2013. Click here to see who's riding the shuttle so far.
Parking: Free parking is available at the Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel during this hash cruise "compliments" of the hotel, whether you are staying at the hotel or not. So, reserve a seat on shuttle between the hash hotel and the ship, per the above, and park your car at the hash hotel for FREE! There is also parking available at the Port of Tampa for about $15 a day (in advance).
Crash Space: Since we are departing from the JRH3's home port some of the local hashers might be offering FREE crash space to those who are interested. If interested, send an email to dab@jollyrogerh3.com and we will forward your request to the local hashers. Don't count on this though.
Pre-Check In For the Hash Cruise: Come by the Best Western Bay Harbor (probably in the bar) between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 to do a pre-check in for the hash cruise, get your pirate pak (goody bag).
Cruise Pre-lube: Meet for the Cruise Pre-Lube/White Dress/Pink Panties/Full Moon Hash on Saturday night, January 26th, at 6:30 PM, on trail at 7:30 PM starting in the front parking lot of the hash hotel. This hash is in addition to the hash cruise, meaning we will expect you to make an "additional donation" to hash cash of $10 for drinkers and $5 for non-drinkers.
Regular Check In: The regular check in will be out of Dab & GRC's' cabin, aboard ship, in cabin TBD, immediately following the safety drill until 5 PM (about 4-5 PM).
Post-Cruise "Superbowl Party Hash": There will be a Superbowl Party Hash back in Tampa, on Sunday for those of you still hanging around hosted by one of our local kennels. The exact starting location is still to be determined

of oil goes up significantly.
Note 4: Sometimes there are promotional rates that could lower the cost of your cruise. Examples include, but are not limited to Past Guests, Florida Resident, Senior & Military Rates. If you are a qualifying Military personnel within 72 hours of booking, you to submit a copy of LES, DD214 or DD256 for any discounted rate. Please let Kathy know if you qualify for any of the promotions.
FUTURE CRUISE VOUCHER: If our travel agent, Kathy Yacone, is holding a cruise voucher for you, it will be taken off the final payment. You may also receive the on board credit if you purchased one of these vouchers during a previous cruise. Sorry, only one future cruise voucher can be used per cabin.
PREPAID GRATUITIES: You
can prepay gratuities on your cruise fare at $11.50 a day, which equals $80.50
per person for the cruise. Gratuities are not included in the rates above.
Please let our Kathy know at booking if you intend to prepay your gratuities.
