Rego Form  Who's Coming So Far  Ginnie Springs Website

General Info: Come join the Jolly Roger H3 and the Nakid Pirate H3 as we invade the Ginnie Springs Campground, located at 5000 NE 60th Ave, High Springs, FL 32643, https://goo.gl/maps/YM7HN for a fun filled weekend of camping, floating and hashing! This event includes 2 nights of camping (Fri-Sat, May 16th & 17th) and Sun, May 18th until 1 hour before dusk. The registration (rego) fee pays for your camping for 2 nights, 4 trails, a gimmie, dinner (on Sat night only), and all the beer you can drink from Fri, May 15th at noonish (or whenever I get there) until, Sun, May 17th at noon. All other meals are on you as this is a "campout".

Gimmie: We have decided not to make an event T-shirt for the campout this year since we just had one made for the JRH3 1000th and we still have several regular 2014 JRH3 T-shirts on hand. Instead, the gimmie will be a soft sided coolers to accommodate a six pack of beer, or whatever, and ice while you float down the river. We will have beer cans and ice available at the river entry point for you to load up your coolers so you won’t have to carry them on trail with you. The coolers will have the JRH3 logo printed on them. If anybody would prefer a T-shirt, you can have one of the aforementioned shirts instead.

Cost: Please download the rego form, fill it out, sign it and send it along with your rego fee payable to RICHARD GEERS, 7007 Orvicti Ct, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544. Or if you want to do everything online, you can send a signed photo copy of the rego form (at least the info it asks) in an email to dab@jollyrogerh3.com and then use your bank's on line bill pay system to send a check to the above address. Sorry, we don't accept PayPal this year. Cost is $99. Just show up! But you must let us know you're coming so we can add you to the list at the park check in office.  Add $20 dollars for each additional camping nights before and/or after the specified dates. The hash rego fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable, meaning you can sell it to someone else if you need to cancel. Contact me directly at 813-943-4855 by phone/text, or at dab@jollyrogerh3.com if you would like to be put on a waiting list for less than the entire weekend rates, but only in case we have less than 50 people signed up and paid.

Camping: Bring your sleeping bag, tent and/or camper! We have both sides of the Deer Springs camping area at our disposal. There is no electricity in the campground, so come prepared to make your own! However there is one fresh water faucet available. Please, NO GLASS CONTAINERS of any sort are allowed in the park. So, pour your liquor into plastic containers before entering the park! See map for our camping areas, parking areas, etc.

Check In:
Upon arrival at the Ginnie Springs Park, go to the check in office and let them know you are with the Jolly Roger H3 Group. DO NOT pay for your own camping! Your camping fees will be paid for you by the JRH3 so you can get the discount. Once checked in, you will get a pass to put in the window of your vehicle which must be displayed at all times. Then proceed to the Deer Springs camping area and look for Dab, or other representative, to get your goodie bag. Camping spots will be on a first come first serve basis.

Trails: The first trail will be the JRH3 - Bungle Through The Jungle Trail, on Fri night, May 16th at 9 PM. Then at midnight, will be a Nakid Pirate H3, Bring Your Own Full Moon Trail. The main event, will be the JRH3 - Treasure Hunt/Float Trip, on Sat, May 17th, at noon. This will be a a combination foot trail/treasure hunt trail that parallels the river & a float trip down river back to our campsite  with an optional, on hare kayak/canoe trail for those who's prefer to paddle. Make sure you bring along some sort of floatation device for the float trip. If not, you can rent one there for extra. Later  Saturday night/early Sunday morning, at mid-night, there will be the Nakid Pirate H3 - Plunder The Poop Deck Trail.

Other: Everyone should bring at least one 20 lb bag of ice to donate to the hash to keep the hash beer cold and a few logs to keep the central bonfire(s) going. Ice and food are available for purchase at the park's country store near the entrance. Once again, make sure you being enough food to get you through the weekend, as the only meal furnished by the hash will be on Saturday night.
