Bum Chum was the hare, Dark Helmet was the RA, 2 Rung Circus was the FRB,
Cow Fluffer was the FBI and the hare, Bum Chum won the Brainless Award.
We welcomed first time JRH3er's Power Sleezy, Just Kevin M and Savage Splitter.
Commentary (Expanded Hash Trash)
The Return of the Head Guy: It was a dark and stormy night…until it wasn’t. The
rain was pissing down until the RA, Dark Helmet, parted the clouds with the
blessing of the hare, Bum Chum, allowing the pack to enjoy a balmy Florida
evening. The occasion was marked by the return of Dabadoo and his new metal
detector-triggering bionic knee. Welcome back, Dab!
Despite the fact that Bum Chum’s legs are twice as long as everyone else’s, she
requested a 20 minute head start as a solo virgin hare, and set off with what
appeared to be 3oz of flour, a piece of chalk, and a few squares of toilet
paper. Since no one was keeping time, 20 minutes flew by (probably because it
was more like 10 minutes.) and the pack gave chase, only to immediately be
flustered at a traffic circle ….just like all Florida drivers.
As 12 hashers ran in 12 different directions, one was bound to stumble upon
trail. And the chase was on! Past the marina, through several pretty preserve
areas (that the hare kept pristine by not actually using any trail marks), and
eventually the shining beacon of SN was spotted on a wall. But alas, there was
no shot to be found. As we later learned, our hare, who stands about 6’12, wrote
SS on the wall at eye level….her eye level…. But, not to be deterred, and now
quite thirsty, the pack once again gave chase as the trail moved into more urban
areas, complete with Bastille Day fireworks (or maybe gunshots), and a tour of
the new developments of the Skyway Marina District. At least we think so, since
the hare didn’t even seem to be able to spare a square at this point. Obviously,
Bum Chum has learned a haring trick or 2 from Hazukashi as the trail wound
through parking lots, around buildings, and eventually to a beer stop at about 4
miles into a 4.1 mile trail.
Rectal Roommate accidentally found himself the FRB by simply going the opposite
direction of every arrow laid down by 2 Rung and suddenly pulled up lame (oh my
hammie!) 40 feet from the on-in to sandbag his way out of the chain.
Dark Helmet attempted to punish the hare, but she gave him a little hip bump (to
the shoulder) that sent him flying and got away with just earning the brainless
award for not realizing that myopic midgets can’t see her marks that high up.
In circle, Dab was called out for the first time in 1500+ runs for gone too
long, Bum Chum earned a blow job and Spread Cheeks, who was busy devouring 3
bags of WaWa food, had to set his Asian lice bowl down to receive his 150th run
headband.
In all, a fabulous trail and hope to see everyone next week for HPV’s trail in
Seminole Heights!
