Trail Directions & Info
Where:
Meet on the south side of the baseball fields, in Hyde Park, located at approximately 760 S Albany Ave, Tampa, FL 33606, https://goo.gl/maps/D3cgN.
When:
Directions: From I-275 & I-4, in central Tampa, go south on I-275 for 1.4 miles to Exit 42 toward Howard & Armenia. Go left on Armenia for 1.3 miles. Go left on Swann for 0.2 miles. Go right on Albany and find the Hyde Park on the left across from the Winn Dixie, https://goo.gl/maps/98HVk.
Trail: This will be a 3+ mile, trail with 1 beer stop and a a shiggy level of 1, on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being the toughest.
BnB Safety & Buddy System: Wear reflective clothing, a head lamp, or carry a flashlight, as it will be dark on this trail. Try to stay with the pack, or at least one other person for SAFETY SAKE! Nobody should ever do trail alone. If you see anyone behind you, alone on trail, slow down and wait for them.
Hash Cash
: $7 for beer drinkers and $4 for non-drinkers.Hares: Ranger Ralph & a mystery hasher will be the hares.
On After: The on after will be at the Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery, located at 1611 W Swann Ave, Tampa, FL 33606, https://goo.gl/maps/bK0gm. To get there from the starting location, go right onto Albany for about 100 yards to Swann. Go right on Swann for 0.4 miles and find Irish 31 Pub on the left, https://goo.gl/maps/Xx1bk.
You might want to just leave your car at the start and walk there. If you go right to the railroad track and then follow them north to Swann you can cut the distance in half. Its only about 1/4 of a mile that way.
