We got a decent crowd considering it was a rainy day all over the metro area. It rained 3 times while the hares were setting trail so they wound up just making it an "on hare" trail. Surprisingly though, many of the marks were still there and the pack might have been able to follow it without the hares leading and sweeping the way. Of particular interest was the crossing of the Clearwater Memorial Causeway. On the way over, the pack all got screwed as the exit ramp for bicycle and pedestrians was a giant corkscrew.

When: Meet at 4:30 PM, on off at 5:30 PMish. It costs $1.25 an hour to park there before 6 PM. After 6 PM, parking is FREE for up to 5 hours.
Directions:
From I-275 & I-4, in central Tampa, go south on I-275 for 4.8 miles to Exit 39 to FL 60. Take Exit 2 and merge onto FL 60 west all the way to the traffic circle at Clearwater Beach, for about 18 miles. At the circle, take the 2nd exit onto Mandalay Bay for 0.5 miles. Go right on Bay Esplanade for 0.1 miles and find the Clearwater City Pool parking lot on the right. For a map go to http://goo.gl/maps/rDxzJ.Trail:
This will be an 10+ mile, preset, dead hare trail, with 1 beer stop and a shiggy level of 1, based on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being the toughest. Any kind of bicyle will Okay on this trail as it will all be on pavement.Hares: GRC will be the hare with Dab as her co-hare.

Bring stuff to donate if you'd like, or not. In particular, we are looking for those "special" DVDs to be re-circulated that ya'll won at previous hash raffles.
