Hare Blessing

Friday Night, May 20th
Stumble Thru The Jungle Trail

A great pack is back at Ginnie Springs
A favorite event of Jolly Roger’s annual flings

Metro and Ship will take us through dirt and trees
Be very careful not to roll around in poison ivy

Watch where you squat and where you fall down
Or you’ll be the subject of the gossipers all around town.

Repeat after me;

Bless these hares
Bless this trail

Running shoes no forget us
Bug spray do protect us
And hostage crisis no upset us

In the name of the flour
The fun
And the holy run

Paddling &Reburied Treasure Trail
(Main Event)

We’re out on the water for today’s main event
Let’s hope none of you are already spent

GRC and Whiney will show us the way
There’s buried treasure on trail, they say

Whether in a boat, on a tube or running with your feet
With hashers and cold beer, this shit can’t be beat

Repeat after me;

Bless these hares
Bless this trail!

Beverage containers no forget us
Screaming children no affect us
Sun in our eyes no upset us

In the name of the flour
The fun
And the holy multi-mode of transportation!

Casual Friday

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011 Tu Tu Hash

Math & Motherload are our hares for tonight

Math came from DC and Motheload frop St Pete
They promise us all we will get a big treat

Repeat After Me;

Bless these hares
Bless this trail
Security no spot us
Other campers no freakus
On trail go on with us
Without a big fuss

The next Ginnie Springs Pirate Invasion Paddling Adventure Hash will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 19th, 20th and 21st, 2012. See you there!

I want to thank every hasher’s participation in the Ginnie Springs JRH3 camp-out weekend, it was a huge success! Wanks converged on the campsite with enthusiasm and left with all appendages attached and smiles on their faces! I appreciate all those who volunteered hash duties, as trails and circles can only happen with volunteers…YOU GUYS ROCK! I also appreciate all wanks who held onto their sense of humor and respect for others through-out the entire weekend; as that is what defines our kennel, Jolly Roger H3 hashers rule!

Dear Journal, I survived:

· Erecting temporary housing while being jeered by the peanut gallery

· Poison Ivy again

· The margarita ball

· Towing 13 wanking tubers and a keg, with my spaghetti arms

· The Sacrificial Immersion Incident

· Shadowy Raptor Attacks

· No toilet paper

· Twilight barfing noises by my tent

· Popping a squat while getting shot at

· Rip entry from the rope swing

· My new friend, Pinky

Can’t wait to do it all over again! Woohoo!!!

What: Meet and camp out at Ginnie Springs Park (Deer Springs Campground area in the NW corner of the park), a private water recreation area where open drinking is legal (click here for JRH3 Alcohol Policy). It's located at 7300 NE Ginnie Springs Rd, High Springs, FL. It's about 150 miles north of Tampa. New This Year: The kegs will be available 24 hours per day AND the JRH3 is providing the on-after dinner Saturday night!!

WHEN: Arrive anytime after 8:00 AM Friday morning, May 20th and depart at least 1/2 before dusk on Sunday, May 22nd. Trails will start at 8:30 PMish on Friday night, at noonish on Saturday for the main event and some time after midnight for the Tu Tu Hash, on Sunday morning May 22nd. Rumor has it that there might even be a "special" extra hash after midnight, Friday night.

FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY: Kick your weekend in the ass and start it off right with the Stumble through the Jungle Trail (foot trail) Friday night. Metro No Sexual & Ship Wrecktum will be the hares. Then, LATER LATER LATER: after midnight Friday, there might just be an unofficial, non-JRH3 sponsored, impromptu "special" hash trail hares by Spicy Dickslapper!

SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY: The "Main-Event" Paddling Adventure Hash & Re-Buried Treasure Map Trail. This is for those in kayaks as well as those on foot. The trail will consist of marks to follow on treasure map that starts at our campground and directs us to several re-joins where kayak hashers and foot hashers come together in a search for re-buried treasure. The trail will also feature shot stops and beer stops. The trail will culminate in a final re-join of kayak hashers and foot hashers as the foot hashers finally get to drop the tubes they've carried with them on trail into the river and we will all float to the ON-IN downstream! Whether on foot/tube or by kayak, you will get plenty of exercise and camaraderie. GRC & Whiney Bitch will be the hares.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY: The final hash will be a TU-TU Hash Trail - Sometime after Saturday midnight, early, early Sunday, May 22. Math Sucks & Motherload will be the hares.

The JRH3 will pay your camping fees for you at the "group" rate. If you are not on our list you will not be allowed to camp in our area or participate in our events! If you arrive after hours, just come to the campsite and then go sign-in in the morning at the Ginnie Springs office.
