Welcome Aboard: Ye time is night to start preparing for the 4th Anal Jolly Roger Hash House Harriers Pirate Invasion Anniversary Hash Cruise! But first, we must commandeer a ship. Weee've selected a fine lady! The Carnival Ship Freedom setting sail January 23rd through January 29th, in the year of our lord, two thousand and eleven!!!!

Itinerary: The ship departs out of Ft Lauderdale, Florida (not Tampa) at 4:00 PM, on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011. Shortly after departure there we will have a full open bar cocktail party in one of the lounges followed by an on board ship hash trail. We arrive in Key West, Florida, on Monday morning, January 24th, at 8:00 AM and depart that afternoon at 4:00 PM. There will be a hash in the afternoon there in full pirate gear. This will be more of a pub crawl than a hash trail but expect at 3 miles total.. Then, on Tuesday, January 25th we will have a fun day at sea where there will be a treasure hunt followed later by another full open bar happy hour and hash trail aboard ship. On Wednesday, January 26th we arrive at Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman Islands at 7:00 AM. You will have time to do an excursion on your own in the morning, but there will be a hash trail in Grand Cayman in the afternoon before we get back onboard ship. Then, on Thursday, January 27th, we will arrive in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at 7:30 AM where there will be a hash trail and an "optional" excursion to Dunn River Falls. We will depart Jamaica at 3:30 PM that afternoon. On Friday, January 28th we have another  fun day at sea where we will do a hash challenge followed by another full open bar happy hour and on board ship hash trail. On Saturday, January 29th we arrive back in Ft Lauderdale at 8:00 AM.

Travel Agent Requirements: Contact our travel agent, Kathy Yacone, at 727-797-5730, by telephone, or at dunedintravel@yahoo.com, by email, to reserve yourself a cabin. To pay by credit card, click here to download the credit card authorization form, fill it out, sign it, and send a photo copy of your drivers license, or state ID to Dunedin Travel. The signature on the ID needs to be from the same person who signs the credit card authorization form. If you do not want travel insurance, click here to down load the travel insurance waiver form, fill it out, sign it and send it to Dunedin Travel as well. Send this information and the applicable cruise cost per person, as indicated below, to Dunedin Travel, at 5002 Parrish Lane, Safety Harbor, FL 34695. Or send a fax it to 727-726-6386.

Cruise Cost Payment Schedule: A deposit of at least $50 down, per person, is due April 16th, 2010 to reserve a cabin with this group. A second payment of $100 per person, will be due August 26th, 2010. The balance is due on November 9th, 2010. Payments that do not meet the schedule are subject to an increase to the going rate, or cancellation, at Carnival Cruise Line's discretion. You can get a 100% refund on the cruise, for any reason up until November 8th, 2011. Cancellations after November 8th will be penalized.

Hash Registration (Rego) Fee: There is an additional $100 hash registration fee for the 6 hashes, 3 open bar happy hours aboard ship, pirate pak (goodie bag) and prizes for a treasure hunt and hash challenge. The Rego Fee goes up to $120 after August 26th and to $140 after November 9th.

If you want to fax your signed rego form you can fax it to 813-200-3628 and  you can use your banks Bill Pay to send a check to the above address.

Total Cost Per Person: The cruise cost starts at $378.57* per person based on 4 people to an inside cabin, plus the applicable Hash Rego Fee, as shown above. Note: Taxes and fees are subject to change by Carnival Cruise Lines without prior notice. Fuel tax can be added if the price of oil goes above $70 per barrel.

Transfers from Airports to the Ship: The cost for a transfer from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport to the ship is $15 per person one way and $30 round trip. From the Miami International Airport it so $30 one way and $60 round trip. If interested, ask Dunedin Travel when you make your cruise payment arrangements.

Additional Costs: Airfare, ground transportation, excursions, travel insurance, and tips may be optional additional expenses. In addition, you may be asked to provide some of your own beverages for down downs at the circle at the end of each trail.

Prelube Hash: We plan on having a prelube hash on Saturday night, January 22nd, somewhere in Ft Lauderdale, probably near the ship & hash hotel. However, at this time a starting location has not yet been determined.

Hash Hotel: We plan to identify a hash hotel in the near future for those desiring to arrive in advance. We will contact you with the details when it is determined.
